Objectives

  • Describe psychology with major areas in the field and identify the parameters of this discipline.
  • Distinguish between the major perspectives on human thought and behavior.
  • Appreciate he variety of ways psychological data are gathered and evaluated.
  • Gain insight into human behavior and into one’s own personality or personal relationship.
  • Explore the ways that psychological theories are used to describe understand, predict and control or modify behavior.
  • To develop a basic understanding of the various processes of scientific development and change to became familiar with the chronological history of ideas which contribute to the field of psychology.
  • To examine the historical context within which that historical development took place and the schools of psychology.
  • To be able to place current psychological thought within that historical development and contact.
  • To communicate concept & theory of Islam.
  • A student must be known to the fundamental duties & rights as a Muslim.
  • By studying this course, a member can play active and vital role in society.
  • Revival of Islamic Aloom.

Age Limit

  • Age limit for B.S. Program is 20 years on the last date of submission of admission application. In case of Hafiza relaxation of one year is granted.

Degree of Shahadat-ul-Alia & Shadadat-ul-Almia

  • Shariah is compulsory in all B.S. programs.
  • Students who will pass six semesters, will be awarded the degree of Shahadat-ul-Alia.
  • After completing eight semesters with one year more will be awarded degree of Shahadat-ul-Almiyah, which is equivalent to M.A Islamic studies and M.A Arabic.
