Minhaj College

Rules & Regulations

Rules Regarding Fees

  • All the students must pay fees for the twelve months of the year.
  • Non-payment of dues within due date will result in 100 rupees fine per day. The names of the students who do not pay fee for one month after the due date are deleted from the College roll. Such students are not allowed to appear for examination.
  • If a student, having paid fees, drops out before attending classes, no fees will be refunded to her.
  • A student who wants to leave the College must inform one month in advance or pay the fees for the whole month.
  • Fees are subject to increase @ 10% in every academic year.
  • Monthly fees are to be paid till 10th of each month. Otherwise, due fine will be charged.
  • Defaulters cannot leave the College premises till they clear their dues.
  • All fees are non-refundable except security fund.
  • The management of Minhaj College reserves the right to revise the fee structure at any time.
  • BISE an d University fees will be in addition to the dues submitted at the time of admission.
  • Rs.100/- additional will be charged for each in house session examination” as examination fee.

Fee Concession Method at the Time of Admission

  • At the time of admission the students can be given the facility to deposit their fee/dues in three installments.
  • Excellent conduct is necessary to get fee concession especially in monthly fee.
  • Board position holders will have full (academic, hostel) fee concession.
  • Students having 80% to 84% marks in board examination will get 50% concession in tuition fee. On 85% to 89% marks fee concession is 75% and on 90% to above total tuition fee concession will be granted.
After studying one year students can have fee concession. This concession will be based on the good result and attendance during the whole year.

Re-admission

Admission will be cancelled if a student is absent for seven consecutive days without leave. The application for re-admission will be presented to the Vice Principal and the following rules will apply:
  • The fee for re-admission of Sc.Students will be Rs. 3000/-
  • After the cancellation of the admission, re-admission fee must be paid within three days.
  • Re-admission will be granted only once.
  • The fee for re-admission of humanities .Students will be Rs. 1000/-

Fine for Absence

  • Per period absence fine is twenty five rupees.
  • Per day fine for remaining absent without leave is twenty five rupees.
  • A student who remains absent from the midterm examination and monthly test without leave will be fined 100 rupees per paper.
  • A student who remains absent from the College annual examination will be fined 200 rupees per paper.
  • After and before the public holidays and vacations, holidays are not allowed otherwise there will be a fine of 300 rupees for three days and then 100 rupees per day.

Special Fine

  • Any student who breaks the College rules or damages its property will be fined any amount according to the damaged property.
  • Late comers will be fined twenty rupees per day.
  • The students who will be without uniform will be fined twenty five rupees per day.
Stipends

Stipends go to deserving but hard-working, regular students who do well in the Exams.

Leave Instructions

  • A student may get three-days leave from the Vice Principal, but for more than three days she will have to approach the Principal.
  • Five days leave for sickness can be considered when it accompanies a medical certificate and reports.
  • The names of the students who remain absent from the College for a week without leave will be struck off from the College roll.
  • Leave will not be accepted if the student has less than 80%class attendance.
  • 80% to 90% attendance is compulsory for medical leave and 90% attendance is compulsory for casual and emergency leaves.

Code of Conduct

  • Students are bound to be fully clothed (hijab and gown are compulsory). Tight dress, make-up and jewellry are not allowed.
  • Students are expected to uphold the honour of the College and their own self-esteem all the times, inside the College and in society. However, the College is not responsible for their attitude outside the College premises.
  • Students should be courteous, honest, well-behaved and well-mannered towards the staff and their fellow students.
  • If a student indulges in stealing cheating and misconduct, she will have to face the disciplinary action. The decision of the committee will be final in this matter.
  • Every student is bound to report to the disciplinary committee if she notices violation of any College rule.

All the students must be present for:

  • The daily assembly and prayer
  • Lectures
  • College functions such as sports, welcome and farewell parties, intercollegiate competitions and religious and training programmes
  • The activities of the College societies and Bazm-e-Minhaj
  • Day scholars must produce the gate passes at the College gate, but they cannot leave the College premises before the classes end.
